This project designs and implements a comprehensive institutional excellence system for Najm for Insurance Services based on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model. It covers diagnosis, self-assessment, recognition readiness, award participation, and long-term sustainability through robust governance, change management, capability building, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.
A. The Challenge
Najm for Insurance Services sought to move from ad hoc quality efforts to an integrated institutional excellence system. The company needed to assess its current maturity, align organizational structures and processes with global excellence standards, and systematically prepare for local and international quality awards while engaging diverse stakeholders and managing change across all internal sectors.
B. Our Solution
The project introduced a phased excellence journey, starting with comprehensive baseline assessments, benchmarking, and stakeholder analysis. It then designed a customized EFQM-based excellence framework, developed supporting policies and procedures, and implemented self-assessment tools. Targeted training, workshops, roadmaps, and simulated assessments prepared teams for EFQM recognition while embedding governance and change management mechanisms.
C. Key Achievements
The engagement strengthened Najm’s institutional excellence maturity, clarified strategic priorities, and enhanced operational efficiency through structured improvement projects. It built internal capabilities in quality and excellence management, increased awareness and ownership among employees, and aligned performance with EFQM criteria. Sustainable practices, innovation platforms, and empowered internal teams now support ongoing improvement and long-term excellence.
