Project Components

The project established a comprehensive quality and institutional excellence system at Weqaa by developing governance structures, policies and procedures, obtaining international certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, promoting a culture of quality and designing an internal excellence award. It also provided planning studies, documented processes, measured performance and prepared a roadmap to compete for national and international excellence awards.

A. The Challenge

Weqaa needed to integrate disparate processes and policies into a unified system that met global standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The lack of documented processes and performance metrics hindered organizational learning and external recognition.

B. Our Solution

We developed an integrated governance framework, documented all processes and standard operating procedures, aligned strategies with international standards, and guided the organization through certification for multiple ISO standards. Training and awareness workshops promoted a quality culture and prepared teams for internal and external awards.

C. Key Achievements

Weqaa attained certifications under ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001, launched an internal excellence award, established key performance indicators and internal audit functions, and created a five‑year roadmap to apply for EFQM and the King Abdulaziz Quality Award.
